1:1 mobile music therapy - NDIS child/adolescent
Do you have a child/adolescent in Townsville working towards NDIS goals? Curious how music could support this?
Music therapy is an allied health profession that can complement your existing therapies and supports; supporting communication an motor skills in unique ways.
Sessions delivered in your home, school or daycare (as approved) by a Registered Music Therapist (RMT)/Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT) with an interest in inclusive communication and training in Auslan and KWS.
NDIS Capacity Building for Self-managed or plan-managed.
Individualised sessions allow your child to engage in music. Enquire now
Social Music and Movement - disability specific, children/adolescent
There aren't enough disability-specific social programs in Townsville. There are even fewer music ones. YOU can help change that.
We're gauging interest for future groups - No group is set yet. Your input shapes what we run next. Generally a 3-4 week block, once/week.
In March, I ran a fabulous 3-week group for children aged 8–12 with CP, Spina Bifida, and other limb and mobility differences. Now I want to know: what does your family need?

Music Therapy may be funded through NDIS to support their goals, whether they are currently developing speech, Auslan or both.

Sessions delivered in your home by a deaf-aware Registered Music Therapist (RMT)/Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT) with Diploma of Auslan.
Individualised sessions allow your deaf/hard of hearing child to engage in music. Enquire now

My Music Mates (Past program)
3 week block - Townsville, QLD
Social Music & Movement for Children with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, and Limb/Mobility Differences (8–12 years)
A fun, inclusive group led by a registered music therapist, supporting social connection, peer interaction, and creative movement through music.
Dates: Saturday March 7, March 14, March 21, 2026
Time: 1:30-3:00pm
Location: Townsville Education Centre 8 Keane St, Currajong QLD 4812
Children are welcome to attend independently if they are comfortable managing toileting/feeding during the session, as individual personal care support is not provided. Parents/guardians and support workers welcome.
