Music Therapy may be funded through NDIS to support their goals, whether they are currently developing speech, Auslan or both.
NDIS Capacity Building for Self-managed or plan-managed
Sessions delivered in your home by a deaf-aware Registered Music Therapist (RMT)/Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT) with Diploma of Auslan.
Individualised sessions allow your deaf/hard of hearing child to engage in music.

3 week block - Townsville, QLD
Social Music & Movement for Children with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, and Limb/Mobility Differences (8–12 years)
A fun, inclusive group led by a registered music therapist, supporting social connection, peer interaction, and creative movement through music.
Dates: Saturday March 7, March 14, March 21, 2026
Time: 1:30-3:00pm
Location: Townsville Education Centre 8 Keane St, Currajong QLD 4812
Children are welcome to attend independently if they are comfortable managing toileting/feeding during the session, as individual personal care support is not provided. Parents/guardians and support workers welcome.
